Spain!

Last Tuesday (the 11th) we flew from Basel to Malaga, in southern Spain. We waited in the 65 degree weather (quite the change from snowy Switzerland) for the bus that would take us along the coast to Cadiz. We stayed in Cadiz for one night before heading off to travel around Andalucia for a week. Amazing weather, and wonderful beaches!

We've been remiss the last few weeks, but not having internet makes it hard to post pictures! We've moved on to Spain and travelled here for about a week, but before that we did a little more exploring around the Basel area. First we took a short trip to Pfeffingen Schloss, a ruined castle visible from the backyard of Kate's host family:

Freiburg

We went to Freiburg, Germany for the afternoon to look around and finish up Christmas shopping.  It was very foggy all day, but still very pretty and Christmasy!  Tomorrow night are the Christmas festivities here.

Thun

We spent a very relaxing weekend with some relatives in Thun, in the Alps.  We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and playing with their three grandkids!
